Inclusion through art

1 May 2013

Inclusion through art provides practical guidelines for organisations that seek to improve their engagement with young refugees and asylum seekers through developing participatory arts and media projects.

The aims of this document are:

  • To provide an overview of theoretical approaches to working with young refugees and asylum seekers and their practical implications
  • To enable organisations to understand and manage the risks associated with this type of work appropriately
  • To put forward recommendations for developing a coherent and holistic participatory arts and media policy that is consistent with the organisation's current framework and business plan.
