Our specialist higher education support worker, Dan M, is going to be speaking at this event at the London School of Economics (LSE). If you're hoping to get to university from a refugee or asylum seeking background, this event is for you.

Feel free to contact Dan or other members of our HE team if you've got any questions.

Here's all the information about the event (in the words of the organisers):

Are you still unsure of what to do next after graduating school? Or do you have ideas but would like to know more? Then join us on March 27th from 5 to 7 pm at the London School of Economics, Clement House (CLM 1.03), for an information evening on studying in the UK.

Our event will cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to admissions (deadlines, applications, criteria), financial support (scholarships, bursaries etc), student life (student activities, societies, housing) and other support programmes available to you.

Here is what you can take away from the event:

- learn how to write a great university application

- know which scholarships and other financial support mechanisms are available to you

- learn what student life is like at the London School of Economics and London

While the information presented is primarily geared towards the London School of Economics, most of it will still apply to other universities in the UK. Therefore, if you think of applying to any other university in England, you should still come along!

Here is how to find us:

Get off at Holborn underground station, head south on Kingsway towards Gate Street. Then turn left onto Aldwych Street. On the map Clement House (CLM 1.03) is marked as CLM. At Clement House itself, the precise location of the event will be clearly signposted.

We are looking forward to welcoming you at the London School of Economics on March 27th.
