Mir works on RSN’s higher education programme and takes a lead on our Youth Advisory Board. 

Through his experience of working with vulnerable youth and displaced populations in Afghanistan, Australia, Greece and Rwanda, including with the Red Cross and UNHCR, Mir has developed extensive international humanitarian skills, specialising in protection, child protection and youth empowerment. He is a strong advocate of children’s, refugee and human rights and has spoken at a number of high level international conferences, including at the United Nations in Geneva.

Mir has a BA (Hons) in politics and international relations from the University of Kent and an MSc in political theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
