Emily Roper
East of England Mentoring Coordinator (maternity cover)
Emily is the current Educational Mentoring Coordinator for the East of England (Cambridge and Peterborough).
Her prior experience has included reporting to donors on basic needs programmes in Jordanian refugee camps, as well as conducting research in the UK on topics related to education and family. Recently, she undertook research for an NGO into the effect of the crisis in Syria on children after a decade of war. She has also volunteered with refugees in northern France, including with refugee women.
Emily completed her undergraduate degree in Arabic and Islamic Studies at Mansfield College, University of Oxford.
