We are affiliated to a range of networks concerned with refugee children and education and regularly work in partnership with like-minded organisations. These include:
Refugee Children's Consortium (RCC)
RSN is a member of the UK Refugee Children’s Consortium, a group of NGOs working collaboratively to ensure that the rights and needs of refugee children are promoted, respected and met in accordance with the relevant domestic (UK), regional and international standards.
Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE)
RSN is part of the Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE) and our Director acts as a co-convenor for the INEE Adolescent and Youth Task Team (AYTT). The AYTT is made up of committed individuals from UN agencies, international and national NGOs, practitioners, researchers and policy makers who work collaboratively on technical tasks to ensure a coordinated, accelerated and expanded, evidence-based response to the educational rights, needs and aspirations of adolescents and youth affected by crisis.
RSN sits on the steering committee of For Refugees, a consortium which encourages and supports churches and community groups to make refugees welcome in the UK.
Our Director is a member of the steering committee for Becoming Adult, an ESRC-funded project seeking to increase understanding about the experiences of young lone migrants as the transition to adulthood.
Access to Higher Education Working Group (AHEWG)
RSN is a member of Access to Higher Education Working Group, a group of NGOs and higher education bodies working to acheive sustainable change that will secure opportunities in university-level education for migrants.
Jigsaw Consult is a social enterprise working in the international development sector, helping NGOs, governments and international organisations to enhance development outcomes through evaluation, research and learning. RSN has worked collaboratively with Jigsaw Consult to carry out research into global higher education for refugees.
