Catherine is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of RSN and has worked in the refugee education sector in the UK and internationally for the last ten years, in both education policy and programmes. She has worked with refugee and conflict-affected children in 18 different countries, managing complex programmes and research projects.
Programmes manager - faith liaison and specialist educational support
Hannah manages RSN's work with faith communities as well as our specialist education support work team. Hannah joined RSN in 2010 and was responsible for expanding our educational mentoring programme across London as well as establishing our work equipping faith communities across the country to engage positively with asylum seekers and refugees.
Programmes manager - higher education
As part of the senior management team, Emily contributes to the overall direction and running of RSN as well as overseeing our higher education programme. Emily is an expert in the field of access to university for refugee and asylum seeking youth, and combines direct support to young people with running training to frontline staff and decision-makers within HE institutions. A co-author of RSN’s research report into young Afghans at the end of the asylum process, Emily has written and spoken widely about issues affecting refugee and asylum seeking youth at international conferences and in the national press.
Programmes manager - educational mentoring
Georgina is establishing RSN’s educational mentoring programme in Oxford, and is taking over as Programmes Manager for the mentoring programme while Katie Pedder is on maternity leave. Georgina comes to the Refugee Support Network having spent three years as a social worker with unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. Georgina has also worked in child protection and fostering teams.

Katie is responsible for our mentoring programmes, including the recruitment, training and support of our volunteers, and contributes to RSN's wider strategic development as part of the Senior Management Team. The focus of her work this year is the national expansion of RSN's mentoring programme.
Pasha leads our operations work streams and supports the team to manage, maintain and improve the performance, productivity and efficiency of RSN.
Before joining RSN, Pasha completed the On Purpose leadership programme and worked at Big Society Capital and at Challenge Partners on a variety of strategy, investment and HR projects. She is a qualified solicitor, having worked in international finance and is a trustee for Praxis Community Projects, which provides support and advice to migrants.
Pasha holds dual British American citizenship and completed her legal studies at Columbia University after having graduated summa cum laude from HarvardUniversity.
Senior programmes officer - specialist educational support
Bryony provides educational, psychosocial, and practical support to young people on through RSN's specialist educational support programme. She joined RSN in September 2013, having worked for seven years in the international development and humanitarian sectors, most recently with returnees and internally displaced persons in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Mentoring coordinator - north London
Programmes assistant - higher education
Saliha coordinates RSN's mentoring programme in north London and works on our higher education programme. Before joining RSN, Saliha worked with the Race Equality Foundation, a charity which promotes race equality and social support. She worked together with the NHS England to produce a guide which examines how local voluntary and community sectors can help NHS organisations to better engage communities. Alongside working with RSN, Saliha is conducting anthropology research at the University of Oxford where she is exploring in country immigration law enforcements and border controls.
Mentoring coordinator - Birmingham
Carolyn coordinates RSN's educational mentoring hub in the Birmingham area. She is a qualified TEFL teacher with a BA in Development Studies and Geography from SOAS and has over eight years of youth work experience.
Mentoring coordinator - Croydon and south London
With four years of experience managing projects, producing reports, conducting research for British, French and South African charities Fanny now coordinates RSN's mentoring hubs in South London and Croydon.
Mentoring coordinator - east London
Stephen coordinates our mentoring programme in East London. When not working for Refugee Support Network, Stephen is a Programme Manager at Embrace the Middle East, a Christian relief and development charity, where he is responsible for managing projects tackling poverty and injustice in Palestine and Israel. Prior to this he was a Project Coordinator for Near Neighbours, a government-funded project supporting grassroots interfaith social action in diverse English cities. Stephen has spent a lot of time in the Middle East for work and study, and holds a Master's degree from Durham University, where he studied Arabic and researched asylum in the Arabic speaking world.
Administration and Finance Manager
Kellie is RSN's Administration and Finance Manager, based in our office in London. She has extensive office management and finance experience and has worked in various private and third-sector organisations. Kellie is responsible for keeping everything running smoothly in the background, monitoring all of our income and donations and making sure our systems and processes are working properly.
Administration and Finance Assistant
Dorothy works in our office, providing vital administrative and research support and making sure we all keep up to date with data entry. She also monitors all of our donations and ensures our valued supporters get thanked. Before working for RSN Dorothy completed a BSc in Professional Accounting and gained work experience with an international accounting and audit firm and in real estate finance. In her spare time, Dorothy enjoys looking after children.
