Training

Refugee Support Network offers participatory training sessions on the following topics:

  • Working with refugee young people in the UK
  • Education and young refugees, asylum seekers and victims of trafficking
  • Mentoring and befriending for young refugees, asylum seekers and victims of trafficking
  • Access to Higher Education: refugee, asylum seeking and immigrant young people

These training sessions are ideal for frontline responders working with refugee, asylum seeking and trafficked young people in a variety of contexts.  We have run training for teachers, student support workers, careers advisors, refugee community organisations, police, other NGOs and churches.  We have also provided bespoke training sessions on request on topics including Monitoring and Evaluation for Small Charities; Developing a Community Project and Education in Emergency Contexts.
